I Personally witnessed these folks joining the boys onstage.
Etta James
Tower Of Power
John Cipplina
Airto and Flora Purim
Matthew Kelly
Merry Pranksters on the "Thunder Machine"
Boz Scaggs
Suzanne Vega
Bruce Hornsby (1988, well before he joined the band)
A Hells Angel on his Hawg (2x, Greek 1982 and UMass 1979)
Mick Taylor
Maria Muldaur
Rick Danko
Those were all great, or at least added something to the experience.

Unfortunately I also saw them with Joan Baez and Hall & Oates.

Unfortunately, by the time Dylan played with the boys, I was living in Hawaii and thus was not able to see the boys very often, so I missed that particular experience. I missed Cobham, Santana, Stills and Marsalis as well.

I don't think I can respond to all but 1 in particular stands out in you list and that's Rick Danko. This still bugs the crap out of me that not one of them made it to the Last Waltz. Now I know we'eve been through this before but really srarting way back w/ the Festival Train across Canada,Rooseevelt Stadium,Woodstock,Watkins Glen and these are the ones I know of,they had to of been more than just set mates as it were and friends so again why not any even a backstage appearence at the Last Waltz. Some say it's a Bill Graham thing which is nonsense because they were his favorite band, maybe the bloated Albert Grossman had something to do w/ this I don't know.
